About me.

Hi, I’m Pilar, a multidisciplinary designer based in Dublin, Ireland. I bring over 15 years of experience working across creative media channels. I have been a Lead Graphic Designer and a Creative Strategist across print, film and digital media. I have worked in a variety of disciplines and design practices, from graphic design to advertising to multimedia, from Madrid to Barcelona to Dublin.

Since 2006 I’ve been very privileged to work in the film industry. Collaborating with outstanding cross-functional teams, I have helped many international films and tv productions to tell their compelling stories through beautiful and effective graphics that enhanced the emotional impact on their audiences. From The Tudors, Vikings and Penny Dreadful to Byzantium, Love Rosie and Disney’s Disenchanted, I have created atmospheric set pieces and crafted fine props that helped actors and audiences to get closer to their characters and stories.

Now I’m taking the next step up in my career. I’m passionate about people and innovation. Human-centred design describes my approach to solving problems and after completing my Professional Diploma in UX Design and Certificate in Visual Design with the UX Design Institute, I’m looking for a role as a UX / UI designer with a highly innovative company to continue creating empowering experiences that connect people through technology and creativity and make our world a better place.
